When crafting our bags, we utilize hides that would otherwise go to waste. By handling them responsibly, we can transform these hides into exquisite bags.

Traditionally, treating hides involves the use of chrome, heavy metals, and aldehydes, but these harmful substances are no longer used with Zeology. Zeology serves as an alternative to traditional tanning agents, based on the natural volcanic clay mineral zeolite. Abundant in the Earth's crust, zeolite eliminates the need for chrome and other harmful substances in bag production. The use of Zeology results in reduced pollution and less discharge of chemical waste and wastewater. Moreover, Zeology is more environmentally friendly in terms of tanned material biodegradability. A much cleaner option!
