In crafting our bags, we use hides that would otherwise be wasted. By handling them carefully, we can transform these hides into beautiful bags.

Normally, the treatment of hides involves the use of chrome, heavy metals, and aldehydes, but these harmful substances are no longer used with Zeology. Zeology is an alternative to traditional tanning agents and is based on the natural volcanic clay mineral zeolite. This mineral is abundant in the Earth's crust and ensures that chrome and other harmful substances are no longer needed in bag production. The use of Zeology results in less pollution and reduced discharge of chemical waste and wastewater. Moreover, Zeology is more biodegradable when it comes to tanned material. It's a much cleaner option!
